Why the PAT Training DVD?
The good thing about the PAT training DVD is that once you have worked through the sections, you can take the online exam which will test your competence in PAT testing. If you pass the exam, you will be a ‘Competent Person’ able to carry out pat testing procedures.
The DVD training course is based on the IET guidelines for in-service inspection and testing and the City and Guilds examinations, and has been endorsed by NAPIT as a good method of learning PAT testing skills.
The other positive thing about this method is there is no time limit on the examination and it consists of 24 multiple choice questions similar to the format of the City and Guilds questions. Also, if you fail the examination, it can be retaken at any time at no extra cost. If however, you pass, you can immediately download and print your certificate of competence.
Learning with a DVD course is advantageous as you can go through and revisit any of the sections at any point, checking and making sure of any parts you are unsure of. As it is set up in sections, each of these sections are easy to navigate and revisit in this manner.
If you are someone who wants to train a number of employees in PAT skills, the DVD is a great way to do that as all you will need to do is pay for extra exams.
There are many advantages to the training DVD programme, take a look and find out how it can help you.
